About Us
Husband-and-wife writing team Doug Long & Morri Mostow live on rural Gabriola Island, in the Strait of Georgia, British Columbia, Canada, on a property they share with a herd of well-fed (thanks to Doug!) deer, the odd peacock, a couple of raccoons and a trio of idiosyncratic felines.
From their home office, Doug & Morri run BizNet Communications, their corporate & marketing communications business, and their SEO copywriting service, one of Doug’s specialties. They are also Web marketers, selling environmental and mood-enhancing full-spectrum compact florescent light bulbs to discerning Canadian, American and European customers.
They also help promote books written by fellow writers, Carol Matas and William Wayne Dicksion. Carol Matas is a prolific, award-winning novelist whose fast-paced, young-adult fiction deals with ethical, philosophical and religious issues — even the paranormal. William Wayne Dicksion, who began writing in his 70s, has turned out an impressive number of books, including a memoir, several Westerns and a Sci-Fi novel.
When Doug and Morri venture from their island paradise, they delight in exploring and writing about other islands and locales.
